We like to offer a selection of interesting objects apart from ceramics and include late Victorian and early 20th Century small silver vestas, brooches etc. Some treen and other wooden items find their way into our stock - writing slopes, ink wells, trinket boxes and tea caddies.
Some glass ware, paper knives, netsukes, copper, bronze and brassware have also been known to appear on our stall.
Our business stemmed from a lifelong passion for antiques & collectables and many years of attending fairs and visiting shops. We have brought that experience with us into the retail side of the business with a dedication to providing good service, quality items and a friendly atmosphere. We are very lucky to have built up a reputation and the benefit of many regular customers.
From
the beginning, it was always our intention to create an interesting and attractive display by showing a wide range of ceramics and curios. Whilst the majority of our stock is certainly ceramics, there is always something of interest for everyone. As collectors ourselves, we understand both sides of the collecting business.
It is not our policy to sell items that are imperfect, either damaged or restored. However, in the case of rarer items where perfect examples are difficult to find we will make exceptions. These items will be clearly marked as restored and the pricing will reflect that status.
All items on our stall are clearly labelled with price and any information that we have found during our research.
